The artist at work.

Life is an open book with many characters, many stories, and a broad array of emotions and diverse genres. Some people live urban-lit novels. Others are mysteries. We have all encountered relationships that were horror stories. Often we are left in suspense. Each day is a clean page, and each day sheds new light, and hope for a victorious ending. I find it a privilege to depict for you in words the things that I have dreamed, lived, or imagined.

Thank you for reading. I vow to get better and better after each book. I am looking forward to bringing you more drama and suspense with each novel.

Currently, La'Vie is working on Nuttin' But Death 2 & Heart's Prisoner

La'Vie was born and raised in Watts, California as La'Tes Williams.

She loves to write her dreams - and sometimes, her nightmares!

As a child, La' Vie was a storyteller.

She would tell her friends and family her dreams as if they were a real life book.

She never imagined her dreams would turn into her new debut novel,

"Nuttin' But Death Can Depart Us".
